Our volunteers are the heart of Francis House – their loyalty and dedication are truly invaluable to our mission.
What can you do to help? Plenty! Many Francis House volunteers help us care for our residents by cooking and serving meals for them and their families. Other volunteer opportunities include receiving and greeting visitors, performing basic house maintenance, gardening, and assisting with special events and other projects.

Ready to Volunteer?
Please send an email to volunteer@francishouseny.org, visit the link above to fill out the volunteer form, or call 315-475-5422 and a member of the Volunteer Office will contact you to discuss your interest in Francis House and schedule your on-boarding and training. We’ll show you around the kitchens and pantries in both houses and provide an overview of our reception areas and responsibilities. After that, you create your volunteer schedule for the days and times that are convenient for you.
